Age groups at Stompers

At Stompers, we look after children in a variety of age groups, from 3 months old up to just before school age. Each age group will learn and play in a separate, specially designed and equipped room, to ensure that all the children we look after have age-appropriate activities and learning opportunities.

Ladybirds (3-24 months)

Our Ladybird room is for babies aged 3 -24 months with a capacity of 12 babies. The room is supported by 5 members of staff. The ratio is 1:3

The room has opportunities for babies to play with sand and water to develop gross and fine motor skills, a music area to promote sensory play and craft play to develop and explore their own creativity. Babies have daily access to the garden for physical and social development and have a separate area for rest and sleep.

Staff will provide play opportunities that are age appropriate and will ensure the environment is set up so our babies can play, pretend, explore and investigate whilst ensuring babies are reaching key milestones.

Bumblebees (2-3 years)
