About us
Stompers Childcare Services Ltd offers childcare provision for children aged 3 months up to school age for Nursery, while our Holiday Camp provision caters for children ages 4 (if in School) up to the age of 12. Our premises are based in Campus 3, Aberdeen Innovation Park, Bridge of Don, in the heart of a beautiful nature reserve near the River Don.
We are registered with the Care Inspectorate and are a Partner Provider with Aberdeen City Council, providing Early Years Learning for our 3-5-year olds.
Who we are
Stompers Ltd is a childcare company dedicated to providing exciting and stimulating opportunities, and play experiences for children of all ages. Our ethos is based on the theory that children will grow and learn through the medium of play. Our aim is to encourage babies and children to explore their environments under the supervision of experienced qualified staff.
The Company services are developed and promoted by the Director; Mrs Rachel Flynn (Flynn Nursery School Limited).
The day to day operations of the Nursery are overseen by Miss Freda Forbes (Under 3's Nursery Manager) and Miss Gemma Henderson (Curriculum Manager) classroom operations are supported by Room Supervisors.
Our history
Stompers Childcare Services Limited opened in August 2013. The Nursery has grown in capacity from 64 to 106 registered nursery placements. In August 2020 the Nursery will be able to offer Early Years Expansion Funding to families with children aged 3 years and over. Currently families receive the equivalent of 16 term time hour of free nursery education.
This will increase to 30 hours and should make a huge financial difference to families finances. The Nursery will be working closely with families to ensure care is still available out with term time hours at affordable prices.
